Wooden half-hull model of Endeavour on a glass base.

Overall dimensions: 44 cm x 16 cm.

The Endeavour is a J-class yacht bearing the number J K 4.
It was built in 1934 by Camper & Nicholsons yards to a design by Charles Ernest Nicholson for Thomas Sopwith, founder of the Sopwith Aviation Company, who intended it to be a challenger for the America's Cup.
The Endeavour has often been regarded as the most beautiful J-class ever built.
