Description from the seller

This antique brass lantern was manufactured by the Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Corporation, a company with a long history of producing nautical equipment since its founding in Brooklyn in 1916. This specific model is a type of deck or standing light, typically used for general illumination on ships.

History and Identification
• Manufacturer: Originally founded as F. Persky & Co., the firm became the Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation in 1916. The "PERKO" trademark, now widely recognized, was introduced in 1922.
