N.E. From – Zilveren broche met cabochon barnsteen – Deens modernistisch design – ca. 1960–70

Een elegant en karaktervol ontwerp van de Deense zilversmid Niels Erik From, waarin Scandinavische eenvoud en organische vormgeving samenkomen in een tijdloos geheel.

Deze sculpturale broche is uitgevoerd in een vloeiende, open ovale vorm van zilver, waarin een warm roodbruine cabochon van natuurlijke barnsteen subtiel lijkt te zweven. De spanning tussen het strakke, gepolijste zilver en de levendige, organische steen geeft het object een uitgesproken modernistische uitstraling – typisch voor het Deense design uit de jaren ‘60 en ‘70.

De cabouchon geslepen barnsteen toont een rijk en natuurlijk kleurverloop van diep rood tot honingachtig amber, met karakteristieke interne structuren die het organische ontstaan van het materiaal onderstrepen. In combinatie met de minimalistische zetting ontstaat een verfijnd spel van licht, reflectie en diepte.

De achterzijde is voorzien van het originele makersmerk “N.E. From Sterling 925a Danmark”, wat de authenticiteit en herkomst bevestigt.

Een bijzonder verzamelobject voor liefhebbers van Scandinavisch design, modernistische sieraden en natuurlijke materialen – maar ook een krachtig draagbaar kunstobject met een warme, tijdloze uitstraling.
