Wall mirror - Wood, Glass - H: 59 cm

An antique 19th-century mirror, with a carved wooden frame gilded with gold leaf.

The mirror is in the Louis XV style, with volutes and ornaments featuring a Rococo design in carved wood covered with gold leaf, typical of the Baroque style.
The ornamental motifs are vegetal, with acanthus leaves common in the interior decoration of churches in Portugal.
There are flaws and losses due to aging and the years of this frame, which are visible in the photographs.
The mirror has a “bisotê” finish typical of period mirrors and is in excellent condition.
