Bronze Cicada on Fallen Leaves Ornaments Okimono
A finely cast Japanese bronze okimono depicting a cicada (semi) resting on a fallen leaf, rendered with remarkable naturalistic detail. The insect’s wings and body are intricately textured, capturing the delicate veining and segmented form with a sense of quiet realism, while the gently curved leaf beneath provides both a natural base and a subtle compositional balance.
