Nintendo Game Boy Color Metal Gear Solid, released 2006, brand new in original box, European multilingual edition for the Game Boy Color with a 32‑megabit ROM.
Description from the seller
Metal Gear Solid (Ghost Babel) (Game Boy Color) — Brand New — TGMG 9.1 — Release: EUR
The only Metal Gear Solid handheld of the Kojima era, developed by KCEJ at Konami Europe's request as an 8-bit adaptation of the 1998 PS1 chapter.
Not a stripped-down port: an original instalment that grafts Soliton radar and knocking onto Metal Gear 2-style 2D stealth, and pulled 30/40 in Famitsu. Konami has never remade or reissued it, and it is precisely that absence that has cemented its absolute cult status.
· Edition: 2000
· KCEJ with TOSE / Konami Europe — Halifax
· EUR
· pan-European multilingual (EN, FR, DE, IT, ES) with the IdeaSpy 2.5 bonus story, hosted on a 32-megabit ROM — twice the size of the US/JP one.
Brand New — original historical distribution without factory seal; SQ not applicable. The EUR Konami/Halifax release shipped without shrink wrap: components remain as originally distributed.
TGMG Grade 9.1 (Brand New)
• BC 9 — Box Condition
• CG 8.4 — Colour Gloss
• SI 10 — Structural Integrity
The Games Market Population: 2 graded copies
Rarity: Rare
Market estimate: few high-grade examples known across the European circuit; most graded copies on the market are NTSC US, with the multilingual EUR variant staying scarce.
X-ray verified — TGMG digital radiograph available in the gallery, confirming the integrity of the contents.
Value reference: €1,100–€1,900
A piece for European PAL collectors of the platform and for Kojima/Metal Gear fans hunting the multilingual edition.
