Antique "Man Overboard" - Light Beacon - Wood - Koper

Rare 'Man Overboard' beacon.
When someone went overboard at sea, this light beacon used to be thrown into the sea.
The body is made of wood and the ends are brass.
I suspect it was filled with carbide, let the experts decide.
The glass head is detachable by unscrewing. The rim of the glass is broken; this is not visible from the outside when the head is on. I think an internal incandescent bulb was screwed in.

This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be carefully packed, sent by registered mail and insured (with Track & Trace code so you can track the shipment). Pickup in (Ridderkerk - South Holland) is also possible. I have tasty hand-ground coffee.
