An antique dry compass on a brass gimbal suspension, probably dating from the 19th century, between the 1930s and 1950s, origin France, in good condition with signs of wear due to age.

This antique nautical compass is equipped with a brass gimbal suspension. The instrument features a paper compass rose, typical of dry models from the 19th century. The dial shows directions in Italian, with "NO" for Northwest, “NE” for Northeast, "SE" for Southeast and "SO" for Southwest.
