Description from the seller
Important!! For buyers in Netherlands - please only bid if you are able to appoint a broker (or a customs representative/agent) for customs clearance (payment of excise duty) at the destination for clearing the goods. My courier service (FedEx) can not pay duties in Netherlands, and I won't be able to ship the whisky without a proper appointment.
Up for auction is an extraordinarily rare vintage piece of liquid history: the Glen Grant 1957, curated and bottled by the legendary independent bottler Gordon and MacPhail. This Speyside single malt represents an era of traditional production methods that have long since vanished from modern distilleries. A key distinguishing fact for this specific release is that it belongs to Gordon and MacPhail’s iconic Licensed Bottling and Distillery Labels series. This was a unique mid-century arrangement where the distillery officially granted Gordon and MacPhail the right to use Glen Grant’s own retro-style script and imagery on the labels, making it a prized and visually distinct historical artifact for serious collectors.
- good condition
- 70cl
- 40% ABV
