Description from the seller
offered a unique combination of 3 NOKIA mobile phones: the Nokia 8110 from 1996, the Nokia 8110i from 1997 and the Nokia 7110 from 1999 in reasonably used condition with signs of use such as scratches and pits on the display, stains and scratches on the exterior and a broken piece at the rear of the 7110 (see photos) these form part of the description - note: offered as NOT working and suitable for collecting, decoration, prop, parts or restoration - the batteries of the 8110 and 8110i can no longer be charged - on the charger both devices display the text: "busy starting up" (see photo) - the battery of the 7110 can be charged but does not hold the voltage for long - on the charger the device works and the menu can be navigated - the connection to a network has not been tested (see photos of the screens)
special features:
the three phones are all of the SLIDER type which means that the keys sit behind a movable panel which also has a built-in microphone - the 8110 was used in the film The Matrix but the spring mechanism is not originally in the device, it was added for the film to the 7110 - the 8110 is also known as the Banana Phone due to its shape
the difference between the 8110 and the 8110i is visually the color of the Nokia brand on the front and technically the SSMS (smart sms) on the 8110i
