Noh mask - Hinoki - Magojiro [孫次郎] under 臥牛流

Embodied with an ethereal and quietly sorrowful beauty, the 孫次郎（まごじろう / Magojirō—Young Woman）is a canonical Noh（能 / Nō）mask traditionally revered within the Kongō school（金剛流 / Kongō-ryū）. Dating to October 1995（平成7年 / Heisei 7）, this wooden mask includes a bag and an inscribed storage box. Box texts note it was crafted by Kawamura Yoshiji（川村吉二）under the formal supervision of Iemoto（家元）Gagyū Ujisato（臥牛氏郷）, head of the Gagyū-ryū（臥牛流）mask-carving lineage. It remains in good condition with signs of use.
