Description from the seller

The A.A. Browell & Co. Finest Old Whisky is an exceptionally rare antique Scotch whisky, bottled for the historic London wine and spirit merchant A.A. Browell & Co. and exported to Italy in the 1930s. The bottle features its original paper labels, wax capsule with lead seal, and a distinctive analytical certificate dated 23rd December 1899.

Although the exact blend composition is unknown, whiskies from this period were crafted in the traditional style, offering elegant notes of old oak, dried fruits, soft spices, honey, leather and gentle smoke. Today, bottles such as this are prized primarily for their historical significance, rarity and exceptional collectability, rather than for drinking.

A fascinating piece of whisky history, this bottle represents the craftsmanship and presentation of the early 20th century and is highly desirable among collectors of pre-war WWII spirits.
