Description from the seller
Epiphone 6732E "Kalamazoo" – Made in Japan (1970-1971) – Rare model
Offered for sale, this Epiphone 6732E is part of the very first Epiphone guitars made in Japan after the shift of production from the United States. Produced in 1970-1971, it retains its famous blue label "Kalamazoo, Michigan – Union Made", characteristic of this transition period, while being manufactured in Japan.
This guitar is entirely original:
Model: 6732E
Serial number: 09342
Manufacture: Japan (early 1970s)
Spruce top
Back and sides stained mahogany
Original tuners
Bridge, pickguard and hardware original
It shows a beautiful patina gained over the years, with no cracks or visible repairs. Its condition is remarkable for an instrument over fifty years old.
The 6732E is the model that would later become the FT-130 in the Epiphone lineup. It belongs to the early Japanese series produced for Epiphone, now recognized for their build quality and their sonic character.
A guitar that tells the beginning of a new era at Epiphone: the first Japanese models, now sought after for their authenticity, their simplicity and their musicality.
