Gian Butturini (1935–2006) left behind a significant body of graphics, editorial portfolios, and satirical posters, created before his transition to an international photojournalist. In the 1950s and 1960s he established himself in Brescia as an art director, graphic designer, and author of counter-information, integrating sharp graphic interventions and subversive montages.
