Brood (1946-2001) was, in every respect, a consummate artist. In his music, poems and especially his paintings and screen prints. Brood worked with total dedication, repeatedly throwing himself into a hallucinatory adventure with brushes, paint and spray cans. A tremendous drive runs through his work, which, thanks to his flawless command of technique, he was able to translate into form and color in a brilliant manner.
