Mariano biu - - Classical guitar - Spain

I am putting up for sale an authentic collectible piece from Spanish luthery: an artisanal guitar built in the 1950s by the renowned Valencian luthier Ricardo Sanchis and distributed in its time by the emblematic music house Mariano Biu of Zaragoza, preserving the historical provenance reference.

For its construction, select woods of the highest quality were used: the soundboard is German spruce (Picea) of excellent quality with a straight, tight, regular grain, while the sides and back are African mahogany (Mahogany), a combination that gives it a deep, warm tone with the unique resonance that only comes from more than 70 years of natural aging.

Due to the instrument’s age, the guitar has undergone some repairs to guarantee its total stability and a new artisanal varnish has been applied. The sides and back show some discoloration since it was not possible to recover the original tint during restoration; this is merely an aesthetic detail that does not affect at all the solidity, the structure, or the tremendous sound quality of the guitar. The instrument is structurally perfect, set up, and fully ready to play.
