Importée des États-Unis, ce Honda CT70 provient d’une collection privée et se trouve aujourd’hui dans le sud de la France.

This Honda Mini Trail is amongst the most versatile 2-wheel vehicles ever built. Compared to other contemporary small motorcycles, the CT70H was a bit more mature, serving as one of the best small dual-purpose bikes of the time. Available alongside a 3-speed semi-automatic version which debuted in 1969, the 4 Speed “H” model had street legal lights, front and rear brakes, and could accommodate two riders with a longer seat and rear footrests. Lightweight with a low seat height, the CT70H could serve as a children’s introductory bike but were also able to be registered for road use, making it a great companion for camping vehicles.
The CT70 was an extremely capable off-road motorcycle, with plenty of torque to get riders wherever they needed to go. These bikes were distinguished by their pressed-steel “T-Bone” frame, equipped with folding handlebars as well. Its five-horsepower engine sent power to the rear wheels with a four-speed manual transmission, differing from other small bikes of the era. The bike weighs just 143 lbs, and with the handlebars folded, it also fit in most cars’ trunks – especially in the 1970s. The CT 70 series enjoyed a long production run from 1969 to 1994.
