A desirable Japanese first pressing of The Cry Of Love by Jimi Hendrix, issued on Polydor MP 2174 in 1971. This copy is complete with original obi strip and insert, housed in the gatefold sleeve. The album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City and represents an important entry in Hendrix's discography from this period. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+) The gatefold sleeve is a nice example overall, with the front and spine in very good condition. However, the interior gatefold shows some staining, and the reverse of the obi also displays some marks consistent with age and handling. Despite these minor imperfections, the sleeve remains an attractive and presentable copy, grading VG+. Obi / Insert Original obi strip and insert are both present and attached as originally issued. Vinyl (NM) The vinyl is exceptional, retaining an unplayed appearance with virtually no visible wear.
