The VG-8020 is a home computer brought to market by the Dutch Philips in 1984 that meets the MSX1 specifications of the international MSX computer standard. The VG-8020 was developed and manufactured by the Japanese Yashica.
New in the VG-8020 is the aanwezigheid van a 'full travel' keyboard and tevens will be introduced to a printer. These functions are activated by the VG-8000 and VG-8010. The VG-8020 is one of the most successful MSX1 computers from Philips. This is the latest MSX1 machine from Philips, which was released two years later and was installed in the front of the VG-8230.[1]

All computer electronics are delivered in a single piece of computer hardware with an integrated keyboard. The toetsenbord has the same afzonderlijk block cursortoetsen. The color combination of the behuizing is black-antraciet in combination with silver and the toetsenbord bevat grijze toetsen waarbij de cursortoetsen voorzien zijn van an orange kleuraccent. The protection of VG-8020/19 for the fringe market is real antraciet-black. The computer is powered by two cartridge cartridges and the joystick can be connected to the front of the device. The VG-8020 is not supplied via an integrated diskette station.
