The Macallan Amber, bottled in 2017 and released as part of the now discontinued 1824 Series.
The 1824 Series was based on the natural colour of the whisky, with Amber positioned between Gold and Sienna. This expression was matured exclusively in sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain, delivering the classic sherry-influenced character associated with The Macallan.
The 1824 Series has since been discontinued, making these original releases increasingly interesting for Macallan collectors.
This example dates from 2017 and carries bottle code L0871Y L02 15/02 13:24.
The bottle is unopened with the original security seal intact and comes complete with its original presentation box.
