2010 Méloduende Blacksword electric guitar from France in excellent condition with a aluminium body, weighing 3.5 kg and featuring the original case, a tuning key, and original parts.
Description from the seller
Due to triple employment and a change of era (that’s the correct spelling), I am selling this sumptuous guitar from French luthier Méloduende (who at the time had signed Shaka Ponk, Yodelice, John Butler, Tryo, Serge Teyssot Gay—who has almost the same ...etc....) taken from their workshops in 2010.
The base was a Telecaster-shaped body called Blacksword there. A hollow aluminum body, therefore, a sumptuous one-piece rosewood neck that is incredibly smooth with a double truss rod allowing extremely fine adjustments depending on your playing style. Sperzel locking tuners, of course. The weight does not exceed 3.5 kg, strap included, which was a decisive criterion as I have serious back problems.
The pickups are Bare Knuckle Brown Sugar wired in 4 positions, and I had installed natively the Black Ice capacitor (bypassable), which is a small gadget that slightly dirties the signal. Formidable on a good tube amp, less so on solid-state.
It’s an intense beauty that requires you to dive into it a little; by that I mean it’s not a Tom Anderson or a Suhr... you’ve got to put your guts into it, and then it’s a kind of grail. If you have in mind the tone of a late-50s Tele, and that of a Trussart from the early 90s, you can mentally piece the two together and you’ll get roughly the sound of this magnificent Melo.
In short, it’s an exceptional guitar that I had ordered for a very specific reason and which, today, remains in its case because that specific reason no longer exists.
It is fitted with Dunlop straplock bases which will of course be supplied with a strap of your choice from the few I have that fit my various guitars.
So, it’s for sale, deliverable at your risk (despite the case provided, the crazy box that will surround any potential shipment, and the bubble wrap). It’s also deliverable in Burgundy where, of course, an aperitif can be arranged!
I’m at your disposal if you have any questions despite all the visual details provided above.
