Aberlour August 2020 Distillery Exclusive 13 years old Oloroso sherry cask bottle 969 An exclusive single malt matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. You will taste rich notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and spices from the sherry cask, beautifully balanced by soft vanilla and oak from the bourbon cask. Bottled at cask strength for a full, intense flavor experience, this whisky was previously available for purchase only at the distillery itself. Aberlour Distillery Exclusive 13 years old American oak cask bottle number 655 This American oak-matured expression from the August 2020 Distillery Exclusive series offers a distinctly different character compared to the sherry version. This single malt is matured in first-fill and refill American oak casks, resulting in pronounced notes of creamy vanilla, soft coconut, and subtle, sweet wood spices. The outcome is a lively, gently sweet whisky that comes across as much lighter and fresher.
