With the Battalion stompbox, Electro Harmonix offers all the basic necessities a bassist needs on stage and in the studio. You have at your disposal a powerful pedal that combines a preamp, DI box, and distortion in one. The preamp features a four-band equalizer to accurately position your bass sounds in the mix. This can be placed before or after the effect and taken out of the loop using the dedicated switch. The distortion effect can be strategically combined with the clean signal so that the bottom end of your bass guitar sound is not lost. With overall volume, degree of distortion, and tone, the Mosfet distortion can be precisely adjusted according to your plan of action.
