Description from the seller

This is the Casio LT-70 videophone, launched in the 1980s. It is one of the earliest civilian video calling devices in the world, a pioneering piece of technology before the advent of video conferencing and live webcasting. It did not require a dedicated line, but could be directly connected to a regular analog telephone line to achieve two-way audio and video synchronous communication on a television set. It also had a picture memory storage function, which was extremely groundbreaking at the time.
