Description from the seller
The Rockwell AIM 65 (R6500-based Advanced Interactive Microcomputer) is a microcomputer based on the MOS Technology 6502 microprocessor, produced by Rockwell International starting in 1976. It differed from the MOS KIM-1, the first of the microcomputers based on the MOS 6502, in being a more advanced system that also included a full keyboard and a small thermal-paper printer. It was conceived as an educational development system, but was in fact a versatile and economical tool.
The system starts up, the original display is operational, and the integrated thermal printer works properly, as shown in the photographs.
Working keyboard.
Original electronic board in excellent aesthetic and preservation condition.
The computer has several cracks and previous repairs to the outer case due to age, clearly documented in the photographs. These defects do not affect the system's operation.
Historic model based on the MOS Technology 6502 processor.
Given its age, no warranty is provided. The item is sold as a collector's item for spare parts, not working.
