Marcello Nizzoli for Olivetti - Mechanical typewriter - 'Lettera 22' model

The 'Lettera 22' typewriter is a famous portable mechanical typewriter produced by Olivetti. It was among the most succesful products by Olivetti in the 1950s and received awards both in Italy (Compasso d'Oro in 1954) and abroad (named best designer product of the century by the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1959). Included in the Milan Triennale and New York MOMA collections.
In fair condition, as shown in photos - in working order but the roller needs to be serviced. The mechanical parts need to be serviced and cleaned. Some signs of wear and time as shown in photographs -
