The essence of a good guitar 

The Hohner Essential series focuses on the basic ingredients of a good guitar - the sound and the playability. The Satin finish with open pores of the carefully selected top is especially thin and the pickguard was deliberately omitted. This enables a free vibration of the top and provides a sonorous and full tone. 
Because of the additional features, the Essential PRO-series is the successful continuation of the successful Essential series. The Essential PRO models with steel strings are equipped with NVI saddles and bridge inlays for a perfect intonation of all frets (“Non Variance Intonation”). The neck is bolt-on, so stays stable. 
The Essential Pro series: in-tune guitars with a convincing sound and an elegant look, which does not need to hide behind much more expensive instruments.
