Large wall rack by Nisse Strinning for String, 1960s. The String wall system was designed in 1949 and has evolved over the years from an innovation to one of the important elements of Scandinavian design. Each part of the system was well thought out, there are near-infinite ways of combinations that can be made, as each unit and shelf can be mounted where needed.

The measurements in this arrangement are: 
W 240 cm x H 100 cm, 3 shelves of 80 cm x 40 cm, 3 wall racks of H 100 cm, 2 wall racks of H 60 cm
1 shelf of 80 x 33, 2 shelves of 80 x 20, 3 shelves of 40 x 33, 1 shelf of 40 x 20 and 1 cabinet with sliding doors (with a shelf behind them) of 80 x 33 x H 30 cm
