This copy was professionally restored and is in the final restoration phase. The photographs prove the material on it. Originally sold in the Netherlands and currently with French documents.

The restoration lasted 6 years and was completely disassembled and repaired where it was needed. It includes 2 engines, one original in need of repair and another completely restored.

The transmission, exhaust and engine accessories are missing. The engines are complete, but missing several accessories, namely carburettors and air filters, starter and accessories.

It has been in Portugal since 2015 for restoration.  The Indy first appeared publicly in a prototype form at the Vignale stand at the Turin Motor Show in 1968 and was officially released by Maserati at the Geneva Motor Show in 1969. 

 With 260 hp of power, the top speed of the luxurious four-seater Maserati was in the region of 270 km/h, a value that later versions with larger engines improved. The sleek Vignale bodywork was so effective that the Indy could transport four people with relative comfort without undermining their performance as a sports car.
