This Citroën Traction Avant Commerciale type 11 from 1955. The Citroën Traction Avant was a very innovative car manufactured by Citroën from 1934, designed by André Lefèbvre and Flaminio Bertoni. It was the first series-produced car with front-wheel drive (French: Traction Avant) and a unibody construction. Many of the innovations introduced in the Traction Avant are still used in today's cars.
The car was available in engine variants with 7 CV (32 and 36 hp), 11 CV (46, 56 and 60 hp) and 15 CV (77 hp) and the body variants 7C, 11BL (Légère) (in saloon, convertible and faux-convertible), 11BN (Normal) (in saloon, convertible and faux-convertible) and 11BF (Familiale), 11BC (Commerciale), 15/6F, 15/6C (6-cylinder luxury version).

The Citroen Traction Avant Commerciale offered here was built in 1955 and comes from the Andre Citroen factory in Paris. 
It is a very special version of the Citroen Traction Avant;
It is the Commerciale version. Type 11 is Traction Avant, Series C is a Commerciale.
This is a longer version than usual and can be labelled as a real limousine.
The car came to the Netherlands in 2015, it is a somewhat older restoration, unfortunately the history of the car is no longer available.
The car is in excellent condition and is ready to drive. Off-white paintwork in combination with a dark blue fabric interior. 
The wooden steering wheel and steel dashboard give the car that typical flair from cars back in the day.

It can be viewed and picked up in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. We always recommend viewing the vehicle prior to placing a bid so you know what you’re buying as a serious bidder. We strive to provide a proper impression by using photos and text regarding (the condition of) a particular vehicle.
