Real German class, a Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 3.5 from 1971.

This beautiful classic car was kept inside a garage for many years and was driven out of the garage with the help of a new battery and some fresh petrol. Due to the fact that it has been standing still for a long time, it will have to be fully checked in order to be used on the road without any problems. 

This 300 SEL has been around for a while, this has also left some signs, such as general aging and wear and tear on the paintwork. The car needs some love in order to have the Mercedes shine again. The odometer reading is 2228 km.

This Mercedes 300 SEL 3.5 has 8 cylinders and a cylinder capacity of 3499 cc and is delivered with no less than 219 HP. Due to the petrol & LPG installation, the car is inexpensive to drive. The car is also completely exempt from road tax (in the Netherlands) and the car is also exempt from the Dutch periodic vehicle inspection because it was manufactured in 1971. 

The Mercedes SEL is an icon of that era and was equipped with many luxuries for that time. Such as air suspension that works properly and stays high, power windows front and rear, electric sunroof, automatic transmission, folding interior windows, leather interior, armrest in the rear and double armrests in the front, Mercedes crown cap rims, chrome trims and bumpers etcetera.

This Mercedes was imported from Germany to the Netherlands in 1997 and presently has a valid Dutch registration certificate and documents.
