A fantastic Citroën DS Super 5 1972.

This at the time very revolutionary DS was delivered in France in 1972. This timeless and beautiful car has been driving around the Netherlands since 1989. After arriving in the Netherlands, it was resprayed in the colour Rouge Magenta. This colour is named after the bloody battle of Magenta of 1859. Always stored indoors in the Netherlands. This is reflected in the chassis and bodywork’s good condition. The Dutch owner always took good care of it, there are invoices available from 2005 to the present day for a total of €10,000 in costs.

The chassis is completely rust free, like the rest of the car. The chassis has nice paint and hollow spaces had a wax coating. Well-known areas such as the rain gutters and inner wings of the rear mudguards are original and in excellent condition.  

The body has a beautiful colour combination of Rouge Magenta with a black high-gloss roof. The DS has a correct fit and all doors, bonnet and boot lid close excellent. The well-known areas on the bodywork such as the bottom of the doors are in very good condition, see photos. The body has a Pallas finish.

The interior is an original leather Pallas interior. This original interior is well cared for, it only has minimal wear on the adjustable seats. For comfort, the car is equipped with a modern radio (USB / AUX) in a classic look. 

Mechanics are in good condition, just like the rest of the car. The engine with electronic ignition starts and runs well on petrol and LPG. The Super 5 has original 5 gears which makes the car very comfortable to drive at higher speeds. The gearbox is free of noise and the clutch engages in the middle of the pedal. The hydraulics are well maintained and is very comfortable to drive.
