A beautiful and rare Silver Cloud III Long Wheelbase with Park Ward bodywork.

The car was delivered in 1965 by Rolls-Royce England to Mr S. Popper. Mr Popper had previously owned two other Silver Clouds and ordered this one with various expensive extras from that time. The car has a beautiful two-tone colour scheme: a Black Mason top and Royal Blue finished with narrow gold piping. It also features full Connolly leather roof lining, wool Wilton rugs, a Connolly leather interior, powered  windows, an electric antenna, White Wall tyres, and - perhaps the most beautiful thing - a walnut cabinet with electric division window, giving the passengers in the back seat the necessary privacy.

The car was exported to California, USA, in late 1969 where it came into possession of Mr Chin. Later it was handed over to his son, who was the owner of this Rolls-Royce until 2004.

In 2004 it was exported to the Netherlands, where the car stayed with a single owner until 2022! The fantastic thing here is that the last, enthusiastic, Dutch owner recovered everything pertaining to the previous two owners and documented it all in an orderly folder.

The Rolls-Royce is in excellent mechanical condition. The engine starts promptly and is steady and powerful when it runs. The automatic 4-speed gearbox shifts well and the brakes of all four wheels have been overhauled. The wheels have also been fitted with four new, classic White Wall tyres. The car has had major maintenance recently.

The bodywork is made of sheet metal and partly of aluminium. The car has been repainted around 30 years ago and it is still free of rust and beautifully shiny today. However, after those 30 years there are of course some signs of wear on the bodywork. There are some minor dents here and there as a result of people leaning against the car. I have pointed some of these out in the photos. The fender flares and door sills are still simply very good. The walnut interior is neat and tidy. The leather upholstery of the seats is still original, but after 57 years there are some signs of wear as can be seen in the photos. These days this is often charmingly called patina.... All chrome parts look wonderful.

This well-maintained Silver Cloud from one of this model's later manufacturing years comes with 2  sets of keys, an interesting history, various invoices, the original instruction book, the accessory on-board toolkit and of course the original driver's hat!

In short, an honest and wonderfully driving car that can effortlessly make many kilometres more!
