Zeldzame auto uit de Britse geschiedenis wij hebben het hier over de Humber SUPER SNIPE SERIE IV 3.0 uit 1964. Deze Humber is origineel in Nederland geleverd!

De Humber behoorde kwalitatief tot de top van de Britse auto-industrie.

Op onderhoud is nooit bespaard, motorisch loopt hij hartstikke mooi, de 3.0 zescilinder-in benzine motor is goed voor 130 PK!  Met een topsnelheid van 160 km/h, voor die tijd zeker niet heel gek voor een auto die 4.70 m langs is en en dik 1600 kilo. Het was in die tijd  een van de stilste en soepelste motoren op de markt.
Motorisch loopt deze Humber dan ook erg mooi! Prachtig geluid en komt goed vooruit. De motor is in het verleden compleet gereviseerd.

De gehele onderhoudshistorie is aanwezig inclusief alle facturen.
Recent vervangen remschoenen achter met cilinders, koppeling, dynamo, glasklok, waterpomp.

Rijd remt en schakelt goed, het schakelen doormiddel van de hendel aan het stuur. Deze hendel is ooit gebroken geweest en zou goed gelast moeten worden.

Wat schoonheidsplekjes zijn provisorisch bijgewerkt, het chroomwerk is mooi. Linker koplamp glaasje is aan vervanging toe, verlichting werkt verder naar behoren.

Het interieur is compleet, met mooie houten afwerkingen is het een chique interieur.

Met hooguit 7.200 gebouwde auto's per serie was de Super Snipe in zijn tijd zeldzaam, buiten Verenigd Koninkrijk nog meer.
