Bijzonder en sprekend tafereel uit Borneo. Het beeld uit twee voorouders bij een knekelhuis.

Het beeld komt van een groter voorouder altaar af, zie bijgevoegde foto's.
Het altaar laat diverse aspecten zien van de traditionele Dayak samenleving, o.a deze knekel kist.

De hoogte van dit bijzondere tafereel is 28 cm tot aan de hoogte gemeten van het Aso figuur op de kist.

Het item bevind zich in een mooie geleefde staat en er is een restauratie geweest aan de Aso kop aan de kist.
