De Elegantie van Jaguar: De 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible 5.3L V12. Let op: dit betreft een NO RESERVE veiling. 

Deze aangeboden Jaguar XJS Convertible is gehuld in de elegante NDP Glacier White lak (originele kleurcode), deze cabriolet trekt direct de aandacht. Hoewel de lak relatief goed bewaard is gebleven, vertoont deze enkele tekenen van ouderdom. Imperfecties en lichte slijtage getuigen van het verloop der jaren.  Aan de voorkant van de auto is de onderbumper licht beschadigd (zie foto's) en ontbreekt er een strip aan de bestuurderskant. 

Het interieur van de 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible is een tijdscapsule van klassieke luxe. Het originele interieur is grotendeels intact gebleven, maar vertoont wel enkele tekenen van gebruik en veroudering. De bijrijdersstoel vertoont enkele scheuren in het leer. Het dashboard bevind zich echter nog in goede staat. Verder heeft het hemeltje van de softtop heeft helaas zijn beste dagen gehad en heeft aandacht nodig om in zijn oorspronkelijke staat te worden hersteld. 

Deze Jaguar XJS Convertible wordt geleverd met een CLEAN CARFAX-rapport dat de lage originele mijlenstand van 81.830 mijl bevestigt. Wat interessant is, is dat het CARFAX-rapport aantoont dat de auto sinds 2007 slechts ongeveer 3.000 mijl heeft gereden. Dit suggereert dat de auto waarschijnlijk gedurende lange perioden heeft stilgestaan, wat de algemene staat van de auto kan verklaren. Technisch zal de auto ook aangepakt moeten worden, deze start momenteel namelijk niet. Er kan nu dus niet mee gereden worden.

De 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible is niet alleen een auto; het is een kunstwerk op wielen. Het is een herinnering aan de gloriedagen van de Britse auto-industrie en de tijd waarin auto's werden gebouwd met aandacht voor detail en stijl.
