Mercedes-Benz 200 E (W124) in very nice condition. The car comes with fully stamped service history book which records all the major service jobs done from the date of first delivery. This is in effect a single-family car, it stayed in the same family for 31 years after the original owner passed away. His daughter restored the car a couple of years ago and now offers it for sale.
This beautiful car is nicely appointed with many recent jobs which include:
- bodywork and paint job,
- major electric repairs,
- full service, mechanically sound,
- almost intact interior,
- new heater fan motor,
- refurbished water recirculation valves fitted,
- new cabin filters,
- air conditioning cleaned and serviced,
- working Hirschmann electric antenna with new toothed plastic rope,
- Sony CD player with 4 Focal speakers and Bluetooth/USB/mobile phone connections,
- CLIFFORD alarm with remote controlled door lock operation,
- new interior headlight switch,
- original M-B light alloy wheels with fresh Sumitomo tires.

The original color was non-metallic blue and has been changed using the metallic Mercedes-Benz color combination DB-929 NAUTICAL BLUE METALLIC / 5301 ANDORBLAU METALLIC.

Most interior wood veneer surfaces in excellent condition, only the console wood trim has some minor cracks. Notably, the interior mirror is in excellent condition with no damages in the mirror's glass or plastic surfaces.

The car has a valid technical inspection certificate (MOT) until May 2024 and runs like a true old-school Merc. It has always been garaged and very much cherished by all family members.

It comes with 2 original keys plus a third valet key which operates the ignition switch only.

The owner prefers the car to be picked up from Thessaloniki by the highest bidder. It is recommended to view and inspect the vehicle prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment afterwards. Please contact Catawiki to arrange a viewing appointment.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
