Historie:
Die Puma-Reihe entstand als besondere Konstruktion von VW do Brasil auf Basis der DKW-Vemag und wurde später mit Technologie von Volkswagen do Brasil und Bauteilen von General Motors produziert. Die Fahrzeuge hatten eine GFK-Karosserie und wurden in Brasilien, Südafrika und den USA hergestellt. Insgesamt wurden etwa 22.000 Fahrzeuge produziert, wobei das erfolgreichste Produktionsjahr 1979 war. Das erste Modell, der "DKW Puma GT", wurde 1967 von Puma Veículos e Motores Ltda. vorgestellt. Ab 1970 begann die Exporttätigkeit, wodurch Puma-Fahrzeuge auch außerhalb Brasiliens erhältlich wurden. Die Produktion endete 1981.

Zusammenfassend bietet dieses Puma GT 1600 Cabrio nicht nur Seltenheit, sondern auch einen guten Zustand. Dank der Teilrestaurierung und der aktuellen Zulassung kann dieses Oldtimer-Cabrio sofort auf die Straße gebracht werden.
