Echte Russische Gaz Volga M21 van 1960. Het tweede type 21 en ook nog de luxe variant! Deze M21 is al zo'n 25 jaar geleden uit Estonia naar Nederland gekomen. Daarna is hij in een opslag beland en daar tot enkele maanden geleden blijven staan. In die periode zijn helaas de papieren verloren gegaan. 

Deze Gaz heeft het deluxe interieur, de gazelle op de motorkap, meer chroomwerk, asbakjes, etc. Deze Gaz was een echte staats-limo, getuige de uitvoering en bepaalde details. De motor, een 2400 benzine, is keurig los en start gelijk op een extern benzinetankje. De versnellingsbak pakt, dat wil zeggen, hij schakelt in. Natuurlijk is de Gaz niet rijdbaar. Remmen en koppeling dienen te worden nagekeken. Wat extra onderdelen erbij, waaronder nettere achterlichten en 4 nieuwe banden. Wat extra wieldopjes, een deel van een versnellingsbak, ruitenwisser motor en mechanisme, stuurkolom, en wat losse bouten en moeren. In Estonia, is de Volga voorzien van polyester spatborden rondom en zelfs binnenschermen als bescherming tegen de sneeuw. In de koffer liggen zelfs de originele krik, slinger en gereedschapssetje. Niet geheel compleet meer, maar een deel van het originele gereedschap is aanwezig. Dat alleen is al erg uniek! Het reservewiel mist.

Zoals u ziet betreft dit een compleet restauratie project. Binnenin is de hemelbekleding compleet, de deurpanelen in redelijke staat, mooi origineel stuur, een latere, maar wel Russische, radio. De stoelen en bank moeten natuurlijk opnieuw bekleed. De tellerstand is natuurlijk een gok, aangezien alleen de 5 nog leesbaar is op de teller. De body is vrij had te noemen. 25 jaar stalling heeft deze vermoedelijk gered. De bodem en balken zijn is harde staat, met natuurlijk her en der een gaatje en veel vliegroest. In het verleden zijn er zo te zien al eens nieuwe dorpels ingelast. De rechter voordeur heeft een slechte plek, de kleppen en overige deuren lijken goed hard.  

Het is raadzaam om het voertuig eerst te bekijken alvorens te bieden om teleurstellingen achteraf te voorkomen. Voor een afspraak kunt u contact opnemen met Catawiki. Bekijken en afhalen kan in Vlissingen, Nederland. De Belgische kentekenplaat was enkel voor stallingsdoeleinden, deze hoort niet en is niet bij de auto!
