Dodge WC 57 (Omgebouwde WC 52) met Winch uit het bouwjaar 1942.

Alles verkeert in perfecte werkende staat zonder mankementen of storingen. Geen slijtage of versleten onderdelen. De motor loopt mooi en de auto rijdt, remt en schakelt zoals het hoort.

Model WC. W staat voor het jaar dat de serie de opdracht tot massa productie kreeg: 1941, en C staat voor de laadvermogens-klasse op dat moment: een 1/2 Amerikaanse ton -450kg op onverharde ondergrond. De WC code bleef ook in gebruik voor de productiejaren 1942-1945.

Vanaf 1941 werden duizenden exemplaren van de WC serie Dodge geproduceerd, in veel verschillende versies, afhankelijk van het vereiste gebruik. Uitgerust met een zescilinder benzinemotor van 3,8 liter met zijkleppen. 

Dit legervoertuig was en is extreem robuust en speelde een belangrijke rol in de successen van het Amerikaanse leger. Ze werden ingezet voor verbindingen en het vervoeren van stafofficieren. Dit model kon worden uitgerust met een lier (WC-57) of een radio (WC-58). 

Heeft in het verleden een restauratie ondergaan en verkeert nog steeds in een goede staat van instandhouding.  Het canvas is in goede staat, evenals de bekleding. 

Deze Command Car heeft een Duits Kenteken, en is op een basis gebouwd van een WC52. Het serviceboekje is ook aanwezig.
