Chrysler Windsor Coupe de 1953 équipée du moteur Spitfire L6, de la boîte de vitesses Fluidmatic Drive et de la direction assistée d'origine.

Modèle rare dans cette configuration d'autant plus que cette Windsor est Matching Numbers, y compris pour la couleur.

Cette Windsor a été construite à l'usine de Detroit en 1953, elle a passé l'essentiel de sa vie aux USA roulant régulièrement au fur et à mesure des changements de propriétaires.

En 2016, elle a été vendue à un acheteur situé au Royaume Uni, qui l'a donc importée et immatriculée.
En 2019, elle a voyagé vers l'Italie ou une nouvelle sellerie et décors de portes ont été installés avant d'arriver en Allemagne ou elle agrémente une collection de véhicules anciens. 

Ce véhicule se trouvant en Europe depuis avant 2020 donc aucune taxe (Brexit) n'est due suite à une immatriculation en Europe.
Cette Windsor roule régulièrement, elle est démarrée 3 fois par an, maintenue en état de fonctionnement et roule autour du bâtiment sur un chemin privé.

Carrosserie - Châssis :

La Windsor a fait l'objet d'une nouvelle peinture il y a plus de 10 ans, tout en maintenant les couleurs d'origine : Bleu Artic et Blanc.
 Le vernis reste brillant, des traces d'usure restent néanmoins visibles.
Une rayure est présente sur le toit et la peinture est rayee dans l'aile arrière droite (voir photos).

Le dessous est en bon état, le châssis est recouvert d'une couche de protection grasse qui protège correctement le châssis. 
De la corrosion de surface peut être visible à quelques endroits.
Les chromes de décoration sont en bon état et brillants. 
Les parechocs sont très imposants, en bon état, mais présentent une usure de leur brillance.

Mécanique :
Cette Windsor démarre aisément, elle réagit immédiatement lors du passage en vitesse avant ou arrière. 

Équipée de la nouvelle boîte de l'époque Fluid Matic, les vitesses passent ensuite automatiquement par simple appui sur la pédale d'embrayage. 
Les freins ont été refaits en 2020.

Équipée du moteur Spitfire de 6 Cylindres, la puissance est suffisante pour emmener cette auto à plus de 130 km/h. 
Le moteur porte la mention C53 indiquant qu'il s'agit du moteur de 1953.

Cette Windsor est alimentée en système électrique 6V et ne nécessite pas de conversion, elle démarre et roule sans problème.
Un Power Steering d'origine était disponible en option coûteuse et équipe cette Windsor.

Intérieur :
Le ciel de toit, les habillages de portes, la sellerie, l'ensemble est en très bon état.
La jauge de fuel a été changée. 
Les lumières, phares, clignotants, ventilation, fonctionnent. 
Les 4 vitres s'ouvrent grâce à une manivelle.

Divers :
Les documents fournis sont un document d'enregistrement anglais V5, un certificat Chrysler propre à ce véhicule, divers documents US datant de 2015 à 2017, ainsi qu'une copie de brochure de vente.
