La 500 Giardiniera che viene presentata appartiene alla prima serie Che venne costruita sulla base 500 D, Si possono notare infatti il serbatoio quadrato, il portaoggetti e le prese d'aria inamovibili e lo spioncino sul cofano motore che caratterizzavano questa serie.
Il motore è stato completamente smontato e rivisto, è stato sostituita la pompa della benzina, i freni sono completamente nuovi come le gomme e l'impianto elettrico che funziona correttamente
La vettura è stata recuperata dopo parecchi anni di abbandono e si è provveduto a sostituire buona parte dei lamierati tra cui i fondi, i parafanghi e il musetto, si è poi provveduto alla verniciatura completa con colore originale . Si è provveduto inoltre a proteggere i fondi con antirombo
Questo veicolo ha avuto un solo proprietario  e da un esame del veicolo non sembra aver avuto incidenti, è stata abbandonata per un lungo periodo e durante il restauro si è provveduto a sostituire gli interni che in origine erano verdi ma pur mantenendo il colore si è optato per il tessuto utilizzato per la fiat 500D, i tappeti in gomma sono stati sostituiti con una moquette la capote in origine nera e stata fatta fare appositamente in tinta con gli interni, e i cerchi in origine color panna ora in tinta con interni e carrozzeria
La 500 Giardiniera non presenta particolari problemi ne meccanici ne elettrici, e stata venduta per la prima volta in Italia a Pavia dove si trova attualmente e dove è visibile
