MZMA Moskvich - 407 - 1960

The Moskvich-407, a Soviet car produced in series production after the Second World War, belonged to class "B" and was manufactured at MZMA (Moscow Plant of Midget Cars) from 1958 to 1963. This particular car belonged to our family and was sold in the early eighties. In 2009, it was bought back and fully renovated over five years. All details, except the body paint, were either preserved or replaced with unused parts from the factory. The body paint was replaced from green to red/white. The engine was completely repaired and adapted from the Soviet standard gasoline E76 to E95. The chassis, water pump, engine cooler, and gearbox were also renovated. All rubber parts in the car are new. New (original) electrical wires were installed throughout the car. The brakes were also renovated, and new tires were purchased. This project was dismantled into details and reassembled from scratch. The car is in almost perfect condition and has only been used during the summer and in fine weather. It has a certificate of historical car status in Latvia. It is recommended to view and inspect the vehicle prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment afterwards. Please contact Catawiki to arrange a viewing appointment.
