Beschrijving
Deze 780 heeft een nogal bijzonder verhaal. Meer dan 10 jaar geleden werd de
wagen verkocht in Amerika na een interieurbrand (foto's in ons bezit).

Ten gevolge hiervan kreeg deze een "salvage title" (technisch totaal verlies) van
de verzekering. De wagen kwam via een Belgische Volvo specialist bij ons terecht.

Na jaren stilstand en vele kosten (laatste factuur bij een officiële Volvo dealer
bedroeg € 8000) lukte het nog steeds niet om de wagen kenteken te krijgen,
door de salvage title, ondanks dat de schade beperkt was en volledig
hersteld. 

Ondertussen doorliep de Volvo de volledige rehabilitatieprocedure, werd gekeurd
en kan er dus eindelijk van genoten worden. De wagen heeft ondertussen ook Belgische papieren. 

Het spatbord en deur aan de rechterzijde vertonen een kleine schade.
Verder zijn de lak en koetswerk in redelijk goede staat.

De passagierszetel en het deurpaneel rechts werden vervangen wegens
beschadigd door brand.

De dakhemel dient nog gemonteerd te worden. Kleine onderdelen in interieur nog verder af te werken maar de wagen is momenteel onmiddelijk bruikbaar. De wagen is technisch volledig in orde gezet  (factuur beschikbaar van Volvo dealer voor bedrag van ongeveer € 8000).
