'The Tempest' by William Shakespeare, published in 1908 by Chapman & Hall with 20 Beautiful illustrations- also double page- by Paul Woodroffe,all present with descriptive tissue guards- missing one tissue guard of a double page. Original green cloth with bright gilt design on board and spine lightly sunned, wear head and tail of spine-see photos as part of description. Front board and spine designed by Woodroffe. Inside complete and very good condition. Very light foxing, a few plates with light crease on a corner, a few pages with a corner missing-see photos. Light wear around edges and corners with light stains on boards, some shelfwear. See photos for description. Decorated endpapers with light wear. Rarity. Perfect Christmas gift.
