Prachtige inktpot, gedetailleerd gedecoreerd in de stijl van de barok of rococo. Een stijl die rond het begin van de 19e eeuw weer terug te zien was in de Franse neoclassicistische kunststroming, Empirestijl.
In deze inktpot zitten twee losse glazen inktpotjes, waarvan vermoedelijk er ooit een is vervangen aangezien ze niet exact hetzelfde zijn. 

De inktpot is dusdanig zwaar en gevormd dat deze tegelijkertijd ook als presse-papier gebruikt kan worden.

- hoogte circa 10,5 cm
- gewicht 614 gram (0,6 kg)
