Guillermo Capdevila designed the 1976 El Casco Derlin M-20 desktop stapler, made in Spain with a resin plastic body and metal components, in near mint condition, measuring 16 by 5 by 9 cm, with a 100‑staple capacity and original box, user manual and staples box included.
Description from the seller
• This stapler, with a contemporary design, in line with Pop aesthetics and Italian design, is the result of El Casco's decision to focus on office supplies, given that its classic stapler had earned it an excellent reputation as a benchmark for quality in this sector and its greatest commercial success. For this, they turned to one of our most prominent industrial designers. The name itself suggests that this project was intended to replace the company's classic model, should its functionalist aesthetic cease to be accepted, as an "office stapler."
They are made of a plastic material whose flexibility provides the necessary tilting system for their operation. Three attractive colors—black, white, and red—were offered, linking it to Ricard's classic Copenhagen.
Its aesthetic simplicity, equally functional and totally innovative in its forms, even after thirty years confirms the immortality of a professional design.
