Zeldzame vintage kapstok ontworpen door Coen de Vries voor Devo. 

De wandkapstok, model GW1, wordt ook wel toonladder of notenbalk genoemd. Uitgevoerd in zwart metalen ronde buis met rode en gele haakjes. 

Ontworpen in 1954 voor een modelwoning van Goed Wonen in Weesp. 

De conditie is goed gezien de leeftijd, enkel lichte gebruikssporen. De afmetingen zijn 73,5 cm breed, 26 cm diep en 200 cm hoog.

Deze vroege versie van Coen de Vries is ontworpen op de maat van een binnendeur voor een modelwoning van Stichting Goed Wonen in Weesp (vandaar de afkorting GW). 
Dit is de initiële versie van deze kapstok met rond buizen frame en noten als kledinghaken. 

Het is de voorloper van de versie van Tjerk Reyenga voor Pilastro in verschillende afmetingen met een vierkant buizen frame. Tomado en Artimeta hebben dit type (met vierkante buis later in productie genomen. 

Deze kapstok (de oorspronkelijke versie met ronde buis) wordt met vier schroeven aan de muur gemonteerd en is extra zeldzaam door het originele hoedenrek wat een extra optie was in die tijd. 

De naam toonladder of notenbalk spreekt voor zich, met 18 metalen kapstokhaken (noten) in de kleuren geel en rood. 

Deze Mid-century wandkapstok is nog zeer goede originele staat.

Gezien het formaat kunnen de verzendkosten afwijken.
