Hans Bayens was een Nederlandse beeldhouwer, boekontwerper en schilder. Hij is geboren in België, maar was het kind van twee Nederlandse ouders. Na zijn school in Amsterdam studeerde hij tussen 1946 en 1949 aan het Nationaal Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten (Antwerpen). Hij was een leerling van Isodore Opsomer. Na in Parijs te hebben gewerkt, verhuisde hij in 1952 naar Amsterdam. Bayens schilderde in een impressionistische stijl. Hij maakte schilderijen van o.a. Willem Drees, Wim Kan en Maurits van Loon. Als beeldhouwer maakte hij bronzen van Nederlandse auteurs als Mutatuli en Theo Thijssen. Hij wordt beschouwd als lid van het Onafhankelijk Realisme. Voorstelling: Dame in huiselijke setting in de stijl van Israels. Olieverf of schilderskarton, maat 60X40CM. Voorzien van een verenlijst met kleine gebruikssporen, deze wordt tevens gratis met het werk meegeleverd binnen de EU. Daarbuiten zonder door grootte, gewicht en kwetsbaarheid. Werk wordt zorgvuldig verpakt en internationaal aangetekend verstuurd

Hans Bayens (1924-2003) - Lady in a Domestic Setting in the Style of Israels

Hans Bayens was a Dutch sculptor, book designer, and painter. He was born in Belgium but was the child of two Dutch parents. After his schooling in Amsterdam, he studied from 1946 to 1949 at the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts (Antwerp). He was a student of Isodore Opsomer. After working in Paris, he moved to Amsterdam in 1952.

Bayens painted in an impressionistic style. He created paintings of, among others, Willem Drees, Wim Kan, and Maurits van Loon. As a sculptor, he made bronzes of Dutch authors such as Mutatuli and Theo Thijssen. He is considered a member of Independent Realism.

Oil paint or artist's cardboard, size 60X40CM. Equipped with a spring frame with minor signs of use, which is also provided free of charge with the artwork within the EU. Outside the EU, it is sent without due to size, weight, and fragility.

Work is carefully packaged and sent internationally by registered mail.
