Jaguar XJS Convertible – 1995 – Elegant icoon in British Racing Green

Deze stijlvolle Jaguar XJS Convertible uit 1995 is een zeldzaam mooie verschijning in klassiek British Racing Green, met een beige lederen interieur dat het Britse karakter perfect onderstreept. Oorspronkelijk geleverd in de Verenigde Staten en recent geïmporteerd naar Nederland, is dit exemplaar een eerbetoon aan tijdloze elegantie en ingenieurskunst.

De auto heeft 141.710 mijl gereden en wordt geleverd met een US-title (invoerdocument aanwezig)  en een uitgebreide Carfax-historie die op aanvraag beschikbaar is. De solide 6 cilinder lijnmotor loopt netjes en de automatische versnellingsbak schakelt soepel, waardoor hij inzetbaar is voor lange, comfortabele ritten. De cabriokap opent en sluit naar behoren en vertoont een lichte slijtplek—een bewijs van zijn levenspad maar zonder impact op de functionaliteit.

Qua uiterlijk presenteert de Jaguar zich met een nette laklaag, die in het verleden is overgespoten. Zoals te verwachten bij een auto van deze leeftijd, zijn er hier en daar kleine deukjes en gebruikssporen zichtbaar, maar deze dragen juist bij aan het authentieke karakter van deze klassieker. Het chassis is hard en solide, al verdienen de kriksteunpunten wat aandacht—iets wat op de foto’s duidelijk te zien is.
Binnenin is de auto grotendeels origineel gebleven. De airconditioning is aanwezig maar produceert momenteel geen koude lucht en de linker buitenspiegel is met chrometape gerepareerd. Bij de auto zit een autohoes.
